Jason Hsu is the cofounder of KryptoGO USA, a SaaS provider for affordable and lightweight KYC/AML solutions. Currently he does product marketing at BitMart, a crypto exchange that operates in the US and runs marketing campaigns for each project or token to get existing and also new users excited. So we asked Jason how to make a name for yourself or your company in your industry, especially in the early days.

What were the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome them? What keeps you running when times get tough?

Depends on whether a company is B2B or B2C. I have been in both worlds. Getting the first customer or the initial thousand requires different creative approaches.

I’ve had to find the root cause of what’s not working and pivot fast.

Early brand building efforts are also not immediately quantifiable. But it sets the tone and professionalism of a company.

Approaches don’t have to come one after another. Sometimes they complement each other or allow me to discover an unintended user base.

Knowing that I’m building something of value, even if we get outpaced by our competitors, keeps me going.

If competitors are throwing more resources at a similar idea, I know my vision was right. I just need to find a different angle.

What makes you stand out within your industry? Why are you unique?

I’m extremely passionate about projects in this space. I have done work expecting nothing in return.

Banks and gov orgs are being threatened by decentralized finance and governance.

Projects are being stonewalled by regulations because the big traditional players have not caught up. I stand in between to help educate both sides for the goal of mass adoption.

What would you consider a success or what is the goal for this PR campaign?

The goal is to get more people excited about the different projects built on blockchain.

People can follow me, stay informed, and win crypto prizes. I get one major imposter on social media every 2 weeks on average who reaches out to my friends or my followers in attempt to scam them. IG + FB verifications prevent that.
